While we are still praying for Nina Pham, the first nurse who contracted Ebola while taking care of Thomas Eric Duncan, the Liberian man who died of Ebola at the Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital on October 8, 2014. Boom! we woke up to another news of possible Ebola case. Another nurse tested positive to EVD.
According to several reports, the second Texas nurse with EVD identified as 29 year-old Amber Vinson, was on a jetliner from Cleveland, Ohio to Dallas, Texas hours before she showed symptoms of the virus. She was isolated immediately she reported a fever and was later diagnosed with EVD.
Amber was said to be part of the team at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital who cared for the first Ebola patient, Thomas Eric Duncan.
