Nigeria: Court Sentences Three Boko Haram Members To 75 Years Jail

A Federal High Court in Lagos have sentenced three alleged Boko Haram members to 25 years in prison each.

The judgement was delivered on Tuesday October 1, 2014 by Justice Ibrahim Buba in camera.

The convicts were among 17 suspects who were charged to court in November, 2013, but were later reduced to four following the withdrawal of the case against 13 other suspects.

They were accused on eight-count charge of acts of terrorism and possesion of prohibited firearms and ammunition.

The convicts are to serve their jail term with hard labor.
