What is honey used for?
Well, honey can be used for so many things, one of which is, using it to cure sore throat. Most people see this as a myth but the fact is, it serves as a remedy for sore throat. I didn’t believe it myself until I tried it long time ago and it worked. (practiced what I am preaching).
If you grew up in Africa or its environ, where parents believed in using natural fruit or herbs as remedy for certain illness, you will understand what I’m talking about.
And for those people who did not grow up in Africa, I’m sure you must have read it somewhere that nature has the best remedy for most illness if not all.
I remember a time when my mum stopped putting sugar in her tea (doctor’s advice), and she tried to make the whole household stop the use of sugar in our tea, but trust we sharp children of nowadays, we would put the honey inside the tea in her presence, but we will go hide in a corner to add some sugar (for better taste). *winks*
Seriously, honey is one of the most used potent remedy for certain illness back then, even till today (some people still make use of it).
