According to reports, American actress and comedienne, Joan Rivers has been placed on life support days after suffering from a cardiac arrest during a throat surgery.
Rivers was reported to have stopped breathing while undergoing an endoscopy in a Manhattan clinic on Thursday August 28, and she was rushed to a bigger hospital immediately.
According to TMZ,
she is now reliant on life support machine and the family will be given the decision by the doctors, whether or not to turn the machines off. Her daughter and grandson are presently at her bedside at the hospital.
This is so sad. I was hoping to hear that she is now well and okay, only for me to wake up to another news on Saturday that the 81 year-old fashion police star have been placed on life support.
I hope she comes out of it alive. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
