Nollywood Superstar, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde recently bagged the prestigious Ebony Vanguard Award at the 7th Birmingham film festival which held on Saturday November 2, in United Kingdom.
Omotola was one of the few nollywood members that was invited for the event, others included Mercy Johnson-okojie, Patience Ozokwor and Desmond Elliot.

Omotola flew in from Doha, the capital of Qatar where she was part of the delegation at the WISE (World Innovation Summit on Education) to attend the award ceremony.
The event was hosted by actress Lorna Laidlaw, and actor Chucky Venn, who won an award at the 2012 edition of the award event.
While giving her acceptance speech, Omotola dedicated the award to God almighty, she also thanked Nollywood and her family for their supports.
Her dress was designed by Roooi Creation.
