Lauryn Hill Is Released From Prison

According to the Bureau of prisons, Lauryn Hill was released early Friday morning from the minimum security Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Connecticut…After serving her 3-month sentence for tax evasion.

Hill was released few days early because of her good behavior in prison, but she will be confined to her home for three months as part of a one year probation period.

The Grammy winner pled guilty for failing to pay tax on more than $1.8 million in income she earned between 2005 and 2007.
