At least 23 people have been confirmed dead today after a tanker lost control due to brake failure and crashed into 5 oncoming vehicles.
The ugly incident took place in the early hours of today at the Felele area of Lokoja, Kogi state.
Eyewitnesses confirmed that some of the casualties included students of the Kogi State Polytechnic.
