It was the end of the road for five kidnappers in Ikom, Cross River State. The suspects were gunned down this morning.
According to reports, they had recently kidnapped a prominent widowed woman and all efforts to make them collect N5million ransom instead of N50million, fell on deaf ears.
They were however ambushed by policemen, this morning, and the victim rescued alive.
