2013 is indeed a very wonderful year for the beautiful gospel singer, Nikki Laoye.
She won several awards this year and she got numerous nominations too. Nikki won the award for Best Vocal Performance (female category) for her single ‘Only you’ at Headies 2013 which took place in Lagos some days ago.
Nikki received the award for her wonderful performance in ‘Only you‘, a song she wrote as a tribute to her late father: “It was a very painful and sad moment for me when I lost my father two years ago. I stopped singing for two years.” Nikki said as she shed tears on stage. “But I thank God and my lovely husband.“ She concluded after a wonderful rendition.
