Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Nne, has penned an emotional tribute to Martins Ifesinachi Onyekesi, popularly known as Fish Magnet, who recently died following his abduction.
In a post on Instagram, Nne described Fish Magnet as thoughtful, considerate, smart, and a true friend.
She praised Fish Magnet’s entrepreneurial spirit, noting that his drive and passion for his work were inspiring.
Nne shared that Fish Magnet’s dedication to his business ventures, particularly Fish Magnet and Magnet Group, was evident in the countless calls he made daily to ensure their success.
However, Nne expressed outrage and sadness over Fish Magnet’s untimely death, which he attributed to the insecurity in the country.
Nne concluded by saying that Fish Magnet’s legacy will live on in their hearts, and he will forever be remembered as a giant and a firebrand who left a lasting impression.
She wrote: “RIP Martins Ifesinachi Onyekesi Martins!! Martins!!!!!!!!!!!
“You were thoughtful, you were too considerate, you were too smart, you were a friend in need!!
“A man of pure, raw zeal to make an impact in society through your enterprising work. You worked way too hard and well not to enjoy the fruits of your labour. Martins, you wanted to grow Fish Magnet @fishmagnett and Magnet Group so big! You were so driven that I would look up to you and be gingered to go about my own business with the same passion and energy, Endless calls almost every moment of the day because you knew running a business in Nigeria without being present was not going to be the best option, You poured your heart into your craft and finally started getting all the accolades you wanted,
“But the evil ones struck and took you away in the wicked way possible. So you are truly gone? So, insecurity in this country has happened to my friend? I won’t see you get married? I won’t see your children? We won’t go on vacations and gist about old times? This wasn’t the plan! A GIANT HAS FALLEN
