It has been revealed that the Central Bank of Nigeria has gone ahead to obtain a court order to freeze 20 bank accounts belonging to some of the notable figures and frontline leaders of the #EndSars protest.
In an exclusive document obtained People’s Gazette, the lawsuit was filed by CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele at the Abuja Federal High Court.
The banks that were ordered to freeze bank accounts of the #EndSARS champions included Access Bank, Fidelity Bank, First Bank, GTB, Zenith Bank and UBA.
