American comic icon, Joan Rivers was laid to rest in a star-studded ceremony at the Temple Emanu-EL synagogue in New York city on Sunday September 7.
The 81-year old comedy legend was memoralized with a funeral fit for Hollywood. Just like she wanted, there were cameras, lights and music.
Celebrity guests at the funeral include but not limited to: Giuliana and Bill Rancic, Kelly Osbourne, Kathy Griffin, Sarah Jessica Parker, Matthew Broderick, Donald and Melania Trump, Whoopi Goldberg, Diane Sawyer, Alicia Quarles, Ozzy Osbourne, Geraldo Rivera, Joy Behar, Dr. Oz, Michael Kors, Carolina Herrera, Barbara Walters, Billy Bush, Kristin Chenoweth, Kathie Lee Gifford and many more.
Rivers passed away on Thursday September 4 at Mount Sinai hospital in New York after suffering cardiac arrest during a routine throat surgery at a clinic (read story Here).
