Fayose Finally Settles With Seyi Makinde

Former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose has decided to put an end to the internal struggle between himself and Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde.

This happened yesterday at the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) South-West Zonal Congress in Osun State.

Fayose apologized to everyone who he has offended and pledged his support to Gov. Seyi Makinde, calling him the father of the party.

In his words, “Governor Seyi Makinde is our leader. Our supporters and lovers should not continue to put wedge in between us. Either ways this election goes, I will accept.

Even though Arapaja has abused me so much, I will be the first person to visit him in Ibadan. Nobody has offended me and if I have offended anybody, I sincerely apologise. Seyi Makinde remains our father come what may.”

Gov. Seyi Makinde on his own end called the whole process a family affair and that their main goal is to reposition the party.

He said: “ Whatever the outcome is, we will take it in the spirit of a family contest. We don’t want to defeat ourselves, we want to defeat the All Progressives Congress.”
