Hmm.. Is there anyone who doesn’t like “Thong Song” when it came out? I don’t think so, but I can’t speak for everybody though. These song was one of the top songs that was “mimed” (danced to by dancers) by different social clubs in high schools then.
“Thong Song” is a song recorded by American R&B artist Sisqó. It was released on January 4, 2000, as the second single from Sisqó’s 1999 solo debut LP Unleash the Dragon.
“Thong Song” garnered 4 Grammy nominations and numerous other awards as well. The song peaked at number three on the Billboard Hot 100, Sisqó’ssecond highest-peaking, and the biggest hit in the United States then.
