Australian popstar, Iggy Azalea is taking a break from the social media after being bullied several times.
The 24 year-old rapper who’s had a fair share of cyber bullying announced on Thursday morning (today) that she was taking a break from the medium because she is finding it “negative and draining”.
It will be recalled that, Iggy rose to fame last year after she released her hit song, ‘Fancy’ and she has been caught in the middle of serious online exchange of words with some of her music colleagues like, Jill Scott, Snoop Dog, Nicki Minaj, Q Tip, Eve.
American rapper, Azealia Banks accused Iggy of having ‘black issues’ despite having African American influence in her music.
The last straw that broke the camel’s back was when Iggy shared pics from her vacay with boyfriend Nick Young online. Her fans commented on her cellulite, which was quite obvious in pictures of the blonde star wearing a bikini. She was not so happy about the comments, hence the reason why she’s taking a bow from the social media. See her tweets below….
