Liverpool: Still Champions ?

In what would go down as one of the matches of the decade, the only question on everyone’s mouth at this moment is to ask if Liverpool are still the champions of England.
From the very beginning of the match to the end, it was obvious that Liverpool would struggle to repel what their opponents would throw at them as Villa’s summer signing from Brentford, Watkins ran the reds defence ragged.
Aston Villa got the opener in the 4th minute of the game as Ollie Watkins opened his Premier league goalscoring account, something which took him another 18mins to double.

Liverpool star forward, Mo Salah reduced the deficit after he found the net in the 33rd minute but it was only a matter of two minutes before Villa scored again, this time from McGinn.
Ollie Watkins eventually got his hatrick in the 39th minute to cap off a brilliant first half for Liverpool even as club new signing, Ross Barkley got on the score sheet to extend Villa’s impressive run since the start of the league campaign to 3wins out of 3matches.
The match ended 7-2 in favour of the home side Aston Villa as club captain, Jack Grealish scored a brace while Mo Salah scored his second and Liverpool’s second for the night.
