According to Nkechi Chima of Sun News Online,
Nollywood actor, Junior Pope and wife, Jennifer Odonwodo on Sunday, March 8, 2015, held their child dedication at St. John Bosco’s Catholic Church, Ibusa Junction in Asaba, Delta State.
It was celebration all the way at the church thanksgiving as family and friends of JP as he is fondly called by his colleagues in Nollywood, rolled out the drum to celebrate with their own. The high point of the service was when Junior Pope storm the alter to dedicate their baby Jason Obumneme the congregation was in high praise at the dance steps of the actor and other celebrities.
The couples spoke with ENTERTAINERexpressing their joys. According to his wife “I am very elated for the blessing of the fruit of the womb, barely few months after my wedding and I am proud to be a mother and wife to my soul mate”.
The father of the day expresses joy unaccountable ” it’s a very special day dedicating my son to the Lord who blessed me with him. And am grateful having my family, colleagues and friends celebrating with me” he said.
After church service, the couple hosted friends, colleagues and well-wishers to a mouthful feast at Cyson Hotel Asaba. Nollywood stars present at the event include Emmanuel Ehummadu (labister), Maccathy Nonwani, Holycup Movies, Zubby Michael, Ken Eric among other notable Nollywood personalities were in attendance.
