Ogun state police command has arrested the controversial singer, Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable after his initial resistance.
It would be recalled that the singer had raised alarm after the officers came to his bar to whisk him away.
He had demanded to know why the wanted to arrest him and refused to follow the men to their station.
Portable had later claimed that the officers had been sent by a Yahoo boy who wanted him arrested.
Following the whole drama, he was slammed with a 72 hour ultimatum which elapsed today.
It was gleaned from sources online that he has now been arrested by the police division in Ogun and is to stay in detention for 72 hours.
Speaking to the press, Abimbola Oyeyemi, the Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer verified the arrest and said that he is currently in cell at the state headquarters of the police in Eleweran, Abeokuta.
He also added that the street-hop musician was arrested after disregarding five invitations.
