Osika, a Yoruba word which means “The wicked” or “wicked person” is Blaise’s first release in 3years. It’s a fusion piece of hip-hop/rap, afrobeat, afro-funk and Naijapop.
Lyrically, Blaise leans more towards social consciousness and this track is not any different. She highlights certain current social circumstances and wraps around it a musical atmosphere which lightheartedly dilutes the intensity of the subject matter.
