Oscar winner and comedian, Robin Williams died on Monday August 11, 2014 at age 63.
According to a press release issued by the Marin County Coronor’s offfice, the Sheriff’s office suspects the death to be “suicide due to asphyxia.” The circumstances, manner and cause of death is still under investigation.
Although many people believed that he committed suicide, but his publicist stated otherwise in his statement, “Robin Williams passed away this morning. He has been battling severe depression of late. This is a tragic event. The family respectfully ask for their privacy as they grieve during this very difficult time.”
Robin was known for his roles in Good Will Hunting, Dead Poet’s Society, Mrs. Doubtfire. He was recently in the canceled CBS series The Crazy Ones.

Personally, I was shocked when I read the news of how he died yesterday. The first thing that ran through my mind was “How come the kindest people are the loneliest.”
