To some people, the name Victoria Alawiye may not ring a bell but let me do a quick introduction.
Like the popular saying, behind every successful man, there is always a supportive wife. Right? Okay, back to my intromimo, Victoria Alawiye is the wife of one of Nigeria’s creative producers (both Tvs and movies) and director.
This couple do not only run a production outfit together, they are both Theatre Arts graduates of the University of Ibadan in Nigeria. Bayo Alawiye is the producer of blockbuster movies like, Richie-Richie, Ala Mi (my dream), Obuko, Ija Okan and many more. He is also the director of Who Wants To Be a Millionaire Nigeria and MTN West Africa Project Fame (you can google the rest).
Come Friday March 6, 2015, Victoria Alawiye will be launching ‘Dark Side’ and ‘Atanda’ at the grand opening of Yembol Bar & Grill in Dallas Texas. It’s gonna be a night of movie and music in Dallas, y’all should get your dancing shoes ready because one of DFW’s finest female dj (Dj Sherry Shay) will literally set the stage on fire, and make sure you clear your schedule for this great event.
