Acting President Yemi Osinbajo presided over the weekly Federal Executive council meeting at the Presidential villa in Abuja in President Muhammadu Buhari’s absence.
Buhari is in New York for the 72nd session of the United Nations General Assembly where he addressed world leaders yesterday, September 19.

The FEC meeting started at about 10.02 a.m.
Minister of defence, Mansur Dan-Ali and the minister of finance, Kemi Adeosun took the opening prayers before the meeting went into closed door.
