Asaba – Senator Ned Nwoko stated on Friday that although the 2027 election for the Delta North Senatorial seat may be open to all candidates, he is certain to win and keep the seat in the 11th Assembly thanks to his management and the support of the Anioma people.
Sen. Nwoko, accompanied by former Deputy Senate President Obarisi Ovie Omo-Agege, announced his candidacy for reelection as soon as he arrived at the airport in Asaba, highlighting the Anioma people’s determination to reject “olden days politics.”
In his self-evaluation, Nwoko stated that he had done a good job of serving his people by advocating for Anioma on all fronts and that it was only right to stay in office to deal with the issues facing the populace.
He told newsmen, “I want to announce publicly that I am returning to the 11th Senate on behalf of the Anioma people, Delta North.
“I’ve done what we were meant to do. I’ve done well as a Senator, taken up Anioma cause at every level and spoken fearlessly onbehalf of the People. “I stand for the people all the time. The people of Anioma know who I am and I know their problems. These are things I’ve been addressing.”
