Christy Samuel Foundation (CSF) have been working offline (as usual) and is leaving no stone unturned this Ramadan season as well.
Ramadan commenced on Tuesday April 13th, 2021 and the foundation has been supporting and giving every day since the fasting period started. Few evenings in a week we take fruits, and food to mosques in the Mainland part of Lagos, Nigeria. This will continue till the end of Ramadan by the grace of God. And also, we take fruits, food and money to the street everyday to support people on the streets especially those that are fasting. I also do online Ramadan giveaway on both my page and other people’s pages on Instagram. I believe that one should give, out of the abundance of the heart not of the pockets. I do not know if I am the only one that feel this way, but I am always extra happy anytime I am making transfers to beneficiaries bank accounts to support them; I always feel fulfilled when I give. Some people think I am weird, some think I am an angel, some feel I am different but I am human serving HUMANITY.
God wants us to give because he gave us the greatest sacrifice first, his only Son. He left us with a true example of what it means to give.
Giving is an act of worship before God and when we do this, He will bless us.
Hebrews 13:16
16 Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.
Proverbs 19:17
17 Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord,
and he will repay him for his deed.
2 Corinthians 9:6-8
6 The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7 Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.
The reason behind this post is not to boast of what we did or not do, when you have a charity foundation people expect to see what you are doing as claimed. Even though we do not pride ourselves in showing videos or pictures of those that benefitted from this foundation, we believe that God sees what we do in secret and he is the only one that rewards accordingly. And I am glad to say indeed, God has been faithful.
Year by year, we reach out to more people that need support daily. weekly, monthly, quarterly, every semester, and every session. Different people fall into different category. All glory to God. I decided to write tonight to let you know that God never fails, he is faithful and nearer than you think. All we need to do is appreciate him for what he has done, serve him with your substance by giving as an act of worship.
I usually say something on my Instagram Live show, it is not rich people that gives, it is GOOD people that gives. I pray that God should keep using us all as a vessel unto his honor.
